We’re 99.999-percent sure Apple is going to introduce a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 this fall. We’re about 99.8-percent sure the company will also announce a larger 5.5-inch iPhone, with dummy units appearing in the wild with the larger frame. Now, thanks to 9to5Mac, via Sonny Dickson, we have a look at what appears to be the LCD component of the larger 5.5-inch display. As the ruler shows, the screen has a diagonal measurement of 14cm, which converts to 5.5-inches
We already got a pretty good peek at what the new iPhone design will be, and it’s not difficult to surmise that the larger model will look the same. Recently we’ve heard the iPhone will feature a number of new sensors, a revamped A8 chip and a higher resolution display. What’s unclear is if both sizes of the iPhone will feature a sapphire crystal screen; recent rumors suggest that’ll be exclusive to the 5.5-inch model, so we’ll have to wait and see.
